– Aircraft Arrival – Discusses preparation for arrivals, gate logistics, aircraft specific procedures, and emergency scenarios.
– Aircraft Cargo Hold Access Doors – Covers the operation, safety precautions, and checks related to cargo doors for various aircraft types.
– Aircraft Cabin Access Doors – Details the operations and safety checks for different types of cabin access doors.
– Aircraft Loading Supervision – Involves training on safety precautions, roles, responsibilities, and procedures for aircraft loading and unloading.
– Safety During Fuelling/Defueling – Teaches safety regulations, fuelling procedures, and emergency handling.
– GSE Usage and Safety – Provides an overview of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) types, operation, and safety measures.
– Ground to Flight Deck Communication – Covers equipment use, communication procedures, and emergency communication protocols.
– Post Flight Duties – Focuses on handling operational messages, documentation, and reporting irregularities.

Key Objectives:
Upon completing this course, the trainee will get knowledge necessary to:
– ensure turnaround activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements of the customer airline(s)
– coordinate and direct activities within the turnaround period
– manage any disruptions to turnaround activities
– ensure processes are delivered within standards for performance and compliance limits
– ensure the activity sequence is consistent with the station aircraft turnaround plan, and all activities are delivered within agreed times
– liaise with and between teams, departments and suppliers to inhibit discrepancies in activity sequence or task performance
– act as a central point of contact during turnaround operations
– acts as safety coordinator for the duration of turnaround activities
